Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

PEDOMAN PENULISAN ARTIKEL

Sistimatika Penulisan Artikel

  1. Judul. Judul ditulis singkat, jelas, maksimum 12 kata dalam Bahasa Indonesia atau 10 kata dalam bahasa Inggris, ditulis dengan huruf kapital, jenis huruf Times New Roman ukuran 11, ditulis rata tengah tanpa diakhiri tanda titik.
  2. Nama penulis, email dan institusi Nama penulis (tanpa gelar akademik), alamat email, dan nama institusi ditulis di bawah judul artikel. Bila naskah ditulis oleh tim, penyunting hanya berhubungan dengan penulis utama, atau penulis yang namanya tercantum dalam urutan pertama.
  3. Abstrak dan kata kunci. Abstrak ditulis dalam Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Indonesia dengan jumlah kata antara 150-200, memuat secara ringkas dan jelas tentang masalah pengabdian, tujuan,  metode,  dan hasil serta simpulan. Kata kunci terdiri dari 3-5 kata, ditulis dalam satu spasi setelah abstrak.
  4. Pendahuluan. Berisi uraian tentang latar belakang, rumusan masalah, dan tujuan pengabdian.
  5. Metode Pelaksana. Berisi uraian tentang jenis pengabdian dan gambaran dari populasi (objek) pengabdian.
  6. Hasil dan Pembahasan. Berisi uraian tentang temuan pengabdian dan solusi untuk mengatasi masalah.
  7. Simpulan dan Saran. Berisi tentang simpulan pengabdian, saran, dan keterbatasan pengabdian.
  8. Daftar Pustaka

 

Format Penulisan

  1. Artikel diketik menggunakan Microsoft Word dengan huruf Times New Roman ukuran 11 dengan jarak baris satu spasi pada kertas A4.
  2. Marjin kertas: sisi kiri, kanan, atas dan bawah masing-masing 2,5 cm.
  3. Panjang artikel berkisar antara 5-10 halaman, termasuk daftar pustaka.
  4. Semua halaman, termasuk daftar pustaka dan lampiran harus diberi nomor urut.

 

Tabel dan Gambar

  1. Setiap tabel diberi nomor urut  dan judul lengkap diletakkan di atas tabel, sedangkan untuk gambar, nomor urut dan judul diletakkan di bawah gambar, disertai sumber kutipan dengan menggunakan tipe huruf Times New Roman ukuran 9 dicetak tebal, italic.
  2. Tabel tidak menggunakan garis kolom.

 

Kutipan

Sumber kutipan dalam teks ditulis di antara kurung buka dan kurung tutup yang menyebutkan nama belakang (akhir) penulis, tahun, dan nomor halaman.

Contoh:
Satu sumber kutipan dengan satu penulis: (Asyik, 2006), jika disertai dengan halaman: (Asyik, 2006: 289).
Satu sumber kutipan dengan dua penulis: (Cooper dan Schlinder, 2003: 24).
Satu sumber kutipan lebih dari dua penulis: (Guan et al., 2009).
Jika penulis lebih dari dua orang, hanya nama penulis pertama yang disebutkan pada teks. Contoh: Guan et al. (2009: 59) menyatakan…
Dua sumber kutipan dengan penulis yang sama: John (2006, 2007); jika tahun publikasi sama: Sumiyana (2007a, 2007b).
Sumber kutipan berupa banyak pustaka dengan penulis yang berbeda-beda: (Yermack, 1997; Aboody dan Kasznik, 2000; Guan et al., 2000).
Sumber kutipan tidak menyebut nama penulis, tetapi menyebut suatu lembaga atau badan tertentu:  Badan Pusat Statistik (2006).

 

Daftar Pustaka                                                             

Setiap artikel harus memuat daftar pustaka (hanya yang menjadi sumber kutipan) yang disusun berurutan secara alfabetik berdasarkan nama belakang penulis atau nama institusi. Daftar pustaka diketik dengan tata cara penulisan APA Style.

 

Penyerahan Artikel

  1. Artikel disubmit ke website jurnal dilengkapi nama, alamat e-mail, dan nama institusi.
  2. Artikel yang akan diterbitkan harus sudah lulus uji plagiasi/turn-it-in maksimal 20%.

 

Metode Review

Artikel yang dinyatakan lolos dari penilaian awal akan dikirim kepada Mitra Bebestari untuk ditelaah kelayakan terbit melalui proses blind review. Reviewer tidak akan mengetahui nama penulis atau sebaliknya. Hasil blind review akan menyatakan:

  1. Artikel dapat dipublikasi tanpa revisi.
  2. Artikel dapat dipublikasi dengan perbaikan format dan bahasa yang dilakukan oleh penyunting. Perbaikan cukup dilakukan pada proses penyuntingan.
  3. Artikel dapat dipublikasi, tetapi penulis harus memperbaiki terlebih dahulu sesuai dengan saran
  4. Artikel tidak dapat dipublikasi.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of Jurnal Ilmu Kebidanan dan Kesehatan (Journal of Midwifery Science and Health) and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any third party.

1. Types of Personal Data Collected

In supporting scholarly peer review and publishing workflows, our OJS system processes the following data:

  • Authors: Full name, academic title, institutional affiliation, country, email address, contact telephone (optional), ORCID iD, and bio-statement.
  • Reviewers: Name, reviewing interests/expertise keywords, institutional affiliation, and peer review history.
  • Editors: Managerial assignment logs and internal editorial communication records.
  • Readers & Registered Users: Username, email address, and new issue notification subscription preferences.

2. Purpose of Personal Data Usage

Collected information is utilized strictly for lawful scholarly purposes, including:

  1. Managing manuscript submission, double-blind peer review, copyediting, and production layout workflows.
  2. Publishing official authorship attribution on accepted articles and transmitting scholarly metadata to official indexing services (Crossref DOI, SINTA, Garuda, DOAJ, Google Scholar).
  3. Sending essential editorial notices, review invitations, and new issue announcements.
  4. Aggregating anonymized usage statistics without identifying individual personal data.

3. Data Security & Confidentiality

Jurnal Ilmu Kebidanan dan Kesehatan implements comprehensive technical and organizational safeguards:

  • Encrypted Connections: All data transmissions are encrypted via secure HTTPS / SSL (TLS 1.3) protocols.
  • Password Protection: User passwords are encrypted using one-way salted cryptographic hashing algorithms and cannot be retrieved in plain text by editorial staff.
  • Confidentiality Safeguards: Unpublished manuscripts and reviewer identities are accessible strictly to assigned handling editors in compliance with Double-Blind Peer Review ethics.

4. User Rights & Access

Registered users maintain the right to:

  • Access, review, and update their personal profile data at any time via the Edit Profile dashboard.
  • Request account deactivation, provided it does not compromise the provenance and integrity of published scientific literature (*scholarly record integrity*).
